In a Cabin In the Woods...

The Cabin, located in Chesterfield, MA, is a charming hideaway from the hustle-and-bustle of the world.

The Cabin is split into three sections - kitchen/bath, living/great room, and a bedroom wing. It offers recently updated kitchen, bathroom and onsite laundry facilities. The knotty-pine-panelled, cathedral-ceilinged living room boasts a fieldstone fireplace and two skylights. The bedroom section houses two rooms, one fitting a queen size bed, the other a bunk bed. As for storage, there are two closets available in the bedroom section of the house, plus large built-in corner cupboards in both the great room and kitchen.

The separate bunkhouse (that could also be used as a home office, or a writer's or artist's studio) has one bedroom, a storage closet, and a screened porch.

Heat/hot water is electric in the Cabin. The bunkhouse has heat, electric and a phone line, too. Both the Cabin and the bunkhouse have High Speed DSL.

And as for the view, the Cabin is nestled against a sunny hillside, amongst majestic white pines, and looks out upon a lovely meadow and hills. It's also adjacent to a large brook filled with trout, and very near the Chesterfield gorge - a wonderful place to hike, bike or fly fish. And in the summer, there are several waterholes on or near the property for you to cool off in. Skiiers - Berkshire East Ski Area is only 35 minutes away, Jiminy Peak just 45 minutes.

The Cabin is certain to be your perfect place to live, think, create, or just be. Located on the main route through Chesterfield, only 12 minutes from quaint Williamsburg, 25 minutes from fun and funky Northampton, the Cabin is the perfect home for someone who would like to be inspired by the place where they live.

  2. Sorry, we have a tenant who is in the process of moving out right now so inside pix may be tough - but I will see what I can do.

  3. I feel inspired already! What a great idea to attach a website to the listing on Craigslist. We're excited to view it in person later this week.
